Following in the footsteps of several of my favorite children’s book illustrators, including Eric Carle, Lois Ehlert, and Bruno Munari, I created a zoo book—a simple picture book that packages lessons about color, shape, or the animals themselves into its whimsical illustrations. My zoo book provides fun details about the animals’ diets and invites readers to visit their own local zoo to learn even more.
